This is a list of different pinions and pulleys you can order to try different ratios to experiment with performance.Please feel free to order parts on Amazon to experiment (cheaper then here!)
This 1X-2 Blower uses extremely common 3D printer parts, GT2 sized pulleys/pinions/6mm wide belt.
Motor Pinions:
- 775 brushed and most brushless motors use 5mm
- 540/550 motors mostly use 1/8″
- Recommend from 16T up to 30T
Drive Pulley:
- The belt cover can fit 80T pulley max (included in the KITs) should be able to go down a size to 60T if you want more speed.
- Needs to be 6mm bore sized.
- 6mm width belt
Belts:
- The stock setup uses a 280mm GT2 belt. Might need to + / – sizes to get different setups to line up.
The motor spins the drive pulley so the figure the ratio you divide the pulley tooth size by the pinion tooth size.
For example 20T pinion, and 80T pulley, so 80/20=4:1 ratio. So to speed it up you increase the pinion, or decrease the pulley etc.
